NATURE EXPLORATION CENTER

Featuring a myriad of permanent and unique exhibits, live programs and educational films that appeal to viewers of ages, the character Exploration Center motivates people to explore the natural world and their connections to it.

NATURE RESEARCH CENTER

• Monday–Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 9am–5pm
• Thursdays Very First Fridays: 9am–9pm
• Sunday: noon–5pm
• The Naturalist Center and iLabs close 1 hour prior to the remaining Nature Research Center.
• The Naturalist Center is shut to your general public on Mondays.

With state-of-the-art laboratories, research opportunities, interactive exhibits and real time presentations provided by top boffins, the type analysis Center tends to make technology a concrete and enjoyable experience and helps site visitors understand the practical applications of research in their everyday life.

Prairie Ridge Ecostation is the Museum's off-site field place where teachers, pupils and public can understand renewable living and go through the normal world. The website features 38-acres of restored prairie, lowland woodland and wetlands through which several climbing trails intersect.

• Tuesday–Saturday: 9am–5pm

The NC Museum of Natural Sciences at Whiteville functions an array of permanent and interactive displays, academic movies, and hands-on discovering areas both inside and out that connect the Museum to Southeastern vermont.
